How MSP verifies suppliers and what the Verified Supplier badge means.
1. Purpose
The MSP Supplier Verification Program is designed to improve marketplace trust, supplier credibility, and buyer confidence by validating supplier business information and supporting documentation.
Verification helps distinguish suppliers who have successfully completed MSP’s review process.
2. Verification Objectives
The program aims to:
- Improve supplier transparency.
- Enhance buyer confidence.
- Encourage compliance.
- Promote quality suppliers.
- Reduce marketplace risk.
3. Verification Categories
MSP may classify suppliers into the following categories:
Registered Supplier
Supplier has completed registration on the MSP platform.
Verified Supplier
Supplier has successfully passed MSP’s verification review.
Premium Verified Supplier
Supplier has completed enhanced verification and maintains a strong compliance record.
4. Verification Requirements
Suppliers may be required to provide:
- Company Registration Certificate
- Business License
- Tax Registration
- Manufacturing License (if applicable)
- Export License (if applicable)
- ISO Certificates
- CE Certificates
- FDA Registrations (where applicable)
- Company Profile
- Official Website
- Authorized Contact Details
5. Verification Process
MSP may conduct:
- Document review
- Business verification
- Website review
- Certification review
- Commercial history review
Additional documents may be requested during the review process.
6. Verification Badge
Verified suppliers may receive a VERIFIED SUPPLIER badge which may be displayed on their supplier profile.
The badge indicates successful completion of MSP’s verification process but does not constitute a guarantee of future performance.
7. Supplier Obligations
Verified suppliers must:
- Maintain accurate information.
- Notify MSP of major changes.
- Keep certifications current.
- Maintain legal compliance.
8. Suspension of Verification Status
Verification status may be suspended if:
- False information is discovered.
- Certifications expire.
- Serious complaints arise.
- Regulatory violations occur.
